June/Summer 2010

Here we are a few weeks from the end of school and I want to wish all of the 8th grade boys' basketball players good luck and congratulations on graduating. I am optimistic about the future we have coming back next season and I know all the 8th graders will do well in whatever they decide to do next year. If you decide to go to Overbrook, CCVTS or whether you are making the jump right to the NBA you will make us here at CES proud. BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL UPDATE

Due to the recent snowstorms, our last two basketball games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 16 and Wednesday, February 17. They will both be Away games and boy/girl double headers. Because both of these days are also rescheduled 1:00 PM early dismissal days, the student-athletes will need transportation back to CES at 3:10 PM.

  • Tuesday 2/16 AT Alice Costello School in Brooklawn (Girls' game 4:15 PM and Boys' game immediately following.)
  • Wednesday 2/17 AT Gibbsboro School (Girls' game 4:15 PM and Boys' game immediately following.)

Boys' Basketball News

The week of February 8th through 11th, are early dismissal days and conferences. ALL players are required to get transportation back to school at 3:10 PM for their games. Players are NOT permitted to walk because there are NO crossing guards present.

Here we are a few games into our season and the team is already showing improvement. I am optimistic about the progress we have made already and excited for the rest of our season. Our schedule and directions will be added to this web page very soon so keep checking back for updates.

Life is Good,

Mr. Butz
