        The end of the year is finally here!  However, the students still need to finish their final assignments.  Their final independent novels need to be read and summarized by Friday, June 11^th.  All summaries are due on June 11^th.  Also, the students’ final writing assignments will be due on Thursday, June 10^th.  We are also working on finishing our last class novel The Wave.  Students will also be watching part of the film based on the book and answering questions.

§       Drug and Alcohol Awareness assembly- Monday, June 14^th

§       Variety Show- Wednesday, June 16^th

§       Athletic Awards Assembly- Thursday, June 17^th

§       Student Council End-of-the-year Bash- Friday, June 18^th

§       Yearbook signing- Monday, June 21^st (also 1:00 dismissal)

§       Graduation- Monday, June 21^st

§       Last day of school- Tuesday, June 22^nd (1:00 dismissal)

*Please remind all eighth graders to behave themselves so they can partake in all end-of-the-year activities.  Thank you and have a great summer.  Best of luck to all the eighth graders in high school next year! Make us proud!
